Visa Services

Seastar Educare provides a student complete information on the procedure to go abroad.

The Visa procedure includes the following steps:

  • Submission of all documents*
  • Obtaining a date from the consulate
  • Completion of all required documentation
  • Attend the interview
  • Receive the visa and passport at home
  • Leave the country in the stipulated time period
  • Make sure you keep a constant check for the validity of the visa

DOCUMENTS TO ATTACH FOR UK VISA:

  • Visa Application F9 Form
  • PBS Appendix 8 Tier 4 General Student Form
  • Passport (Old and New) of self & spouse (if she is accompanying you)
  • Marriage certificate (if married)
  • 1 Passport Size Photograph (to be taken at the VFS office)
  • CAS letter from the University.
  • IELTS certificate
  • Notice of Eligibility from the MCA (if already obtained).
  • Updated Bank Passbook / Bank Statement (passbook is preferable)
  • Bank Loan Sanction Letter (if loan applied for)
  • CDC / STCW Courses / Class X, XII, Pre-sea, Graduation certificates*
  • Sea Service Testimonials, Salary Certificate, Contract Letters, etc.
  • ALL DOCUMENTS HAVE TO SUBMITTED IN ORIGINALS ONLY.

    DOCUMENTS TO ATTACH FOR UK VISA:

    The energy clearance officer at the British High Commission has to go through many VISa applications daily. Hence , it is the student's responsibility to ensure that this documents have been properly submitted in a way that it is easier for the VISA officer to understand his documentation. It is advisable that you categorise your documents into 4 distinct headings.

    COLLEGE DOCUMENTS:

    CAS Letter

    FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS:

    This would include your Bank statement / Bank passbook and / or Education Loan sanction letter from your Bank. If you are taking an online Bank statement printout, It should have the Banks's Stamp, Signature, Date and Logo on each page of the printout. Please update passbook / statement about 3-5 days before VISA application date by withdrawing 10Rs/- and updating the same.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

    This would include your STCW Courses ( Basic and Advanced ), GMDSS, Class X, XII, PRE-SEA, Graduation, etc.

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

    This would include your Sea Service Tesimonials, Pay Slip, Company Contract Letter, etc.

    It is advisible that you group your documents under the above four headings, clip them together with a u clip and mark the under the various headings usinga post it paper. This would make it much easier for the VISA officer to understand your differnt documents. Please bear inmind that VISA officer is not some one from marchant navy background. Hence, it is difficult for to understand a lot of your certificatesand documentation. The above procedure would go a long way in making the process easier for the VISA clearance officer in understanding your application.
